How many times have you felt like you don't belong? That you have nowhere to go or simply you don't know where to look for answers. In my case, way too many. I have to say that when in solitude, I often think about if what I am doing is the right thing to do. Somehow, after several time thinking about it (often referred to as: after I already did it) I regret my decision.

When do you know that you're right? When do you know if what you're doing is correct or beneficial for you in the long run? I guess, it all depends on how well you "plan" your next step. As a still "young adult" I constantly fall into the sunk cost fallacy dilemma: is it worth it to continue doing something that has cost you so much to achieve, yet suffer most of the journey?

Fear; creativity most deadly enemy.

After doing some research on the best companies to work for in the United States, and being an owner of a small company in New York. I understood that it is indeed fear what makes people not only give up on their dreams but become tight about “comfort” in any given place or situation. For example, a manager of a SME. His or her biggest fear is losing their jobs from a person below them, making them become uncertain about their position everyday. In other words, fear makes people uptight and lose perspective of others’ feelings.

Is there one way to simplicity? — There are as many ways as there are people who seek an uncomplicated life.

I would like to engage in the world of what it means to pursue simplicity, and if there is a way to get there — or more accurately, the many paths to getting to the many destinations.

What is Simplicity?

I could not found a single definition of simplicity. My view of a simple life will be different from yours or anyone else’s— and none of us is wrong.

My father told me a story when I was 14 years old and it was about someone living in a very rural zone in South America, with no electricity or running water or television or Internet. They used to wake up every morning to chop wood to burn for heat and cooking. They use water from a close by river for drinking and bathing. Nevertheless, these people were not able to go to town; they were indeed living a simple life. That is a pretty simple by most definitions. However, when I talk about pursue simplicity, I do not mean you need to step away from civilization..
